2019 Virginia Veterinary Conference Recap

February 26, 2019

Another great VVC in the books! This meeting is always a great opportunity for learning and fellowship amongst area veterinarians. Thanks to all Academy members and students who attended.

A few of the highlights are:

  • Dr. Mark Hardesty invited past 4H members to the stage to share the 4H pledge, which he used to give advice to students as they go forward in their careers.

  • We had great student attendance at our student practitioner dinner. Thank you Sue Puffenbarger andZoetis for your sponsorship!

  • Academy member Dr. Nathaniel Burke of Luray was awarded the 2019 VVMA Distinguished Veterinarian Award. Congratulations, Dr. Burke, for the well-deserved honor!
